Celebrating Global Connections and Vietnam–UAE Collaboration

On 10 September 2025, the Vietnamese Business Council in the UAE (VNBC) proudly participated in The Big Inter-Council Networking Night, a flagship event that brought together over 20 international business councils from across the UAE. Hosted in partnership with InsuranceMarket.ae, this was one of the largest gatherings of its kind — spotlighting diversity, diplomacy, and business innovation under one roof.

From Spain to Sri Lanka, Australia to Austria, and Vietnam to the Netherlands — the event created a dynamic platform for global exchange among thriving expatriate and business communities across the Emirates.

A Showcase of UAE’s Multinational Business Fabric

The UAE’s strength lies in its ability to unite the world’s talent, entrepreneurs, and cultures under one collaborative ecosystem. The Inter-Council Night reflected this vibrancy, with councils representing:

• Europe: French (CCI France UAE), British, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Polish, Swiss, Austrian, etc.

• Asia-Pacific: Vietnamese (VNBC), Malaysian, Sri Lankan, Philippine, Australian, etc.

• Americas & MENA: AmCham Dubai (USA), Tunisian, Palestinian, and many others.

The energy in the room was electric — filled with conversations that bridged industries, borders, and cultures. Business leaders, startups, consultants, and trade delegates engaged in powerful discussions ranging from digital transformation to sustainable trade.

VNBC’s Role: Championing Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in the UAE

VNBC took the opportunity to proudly represent the Vietnamese business community in the UAE — highlighting the rapid rise of Vietnam as a strategic trade partner and the growing presence of Vietnamese enterprises in the Gulf.

Key VNBC highlights from the evening included:

• Promoting the Vietnam–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed in 2024

• Sharing recent milestones such as VNBC’s MoU with Ajman Free Zone, aimed at empowering Vietnamese SMEs

• Introducing upcoming initiatives, including B2B trade delegations, startup showcases, and investment roundtables

• Engaging with councils to co-design cross-border partnership programs, especially among ASEAN and EU communities

With Vietnam now contributing to nearly US$5 billion in annual bilateral trade and rising interest in logistics, tech, manufacturing, eCommerce, and F&B sectors — the UAE is becoming a key launchpad for Vietnamese businesses to enter regional and global markets.

Building Bridges, Not Just Businesses

The event was more than just networking — it was about forging real pathways for international collaboration.

Councils discussed shared interests in:

• SME and startup support frameworks

• Women-led entrepreneurship initiatives

• Sustainability and green economy collaborations

• Inter-council trade missions and knowledge exchanges

VNBC emphasized its commitment to co-create cross-council programs, connect Vietnamese talent and companies with the broader UAE ecosystem, and serve as a trusted bridge between Vietnam and global markets.
